So you're sure then?

Expected some times, sometimes, most times, mosttimes
not so sure I can know, no - do that, right?

(Clears throat)

But whatever.  Ignore that first piece because sometimes
you just don't know, right?  I mean you feel some thing,
something, most things, mostthings and now dammit I'm
back there again.

(Sighs, looks downward)

Just think about it this way.  You've got a hunch.  There's
something sometimes that trips a wire - a small wire like
maybe an invisible wire.  That's your just outside of the
usual scope of normal things wire and bing a little alarm
sounds somewhere in your brain but not anywhere really
important enough for the nightwatchman to notice so
there's just kind of a discomfort.  Okay, no - that's not it.

(Exhales)

The hunch is based on something from before.  It has to
be.  We are history - we are nothing but history, it's how
we define and refine ourselves.  Your hunch is just a weak
thread of befores strung up not quite strong enough to
form a full thought and yank yank there it goes pulling
you around again and when it finally kicks you in the
shin it has a told you so sting to it which now it will be
propelled out of the hunch category and into the I'm
pretty certain folder.  At least for a while.

(Sucks teeth thoughtfully)

Unless too much time passes and you forget about it.
Sometimes that's the thing.  There's just too much time
between one thing and the next for it to matter, there's
just too much other stuff, otherstuff going and coming
and mattering but not really mattering at all more like
chattering but that's enough to occupy space and since
no two things can share the same space bang bang your
noticing is kicked back to hunch category or maybe even
demoted nebulously to discomfort and irritation.

(Nods helplessly)
