Oh You Forces of Nature

TemperanceAlways crushing us puny humans beneath your mighty boots, forcing us to live shadowed lives inside the treads of your aforementioned foot gear.  Yet we seem to find meaning in this dark existence, to such an extent, in fact, that one wonders if it isn't all for the better really.  Divine ways of mystery indeed what with all the suffering and presence of evil somehow making mortality worth living because a mediocre life free of godly intervention would be, well - mediocre.
Which brings us to a second postulation of possibility: that we are all forces of nature or forced by nature or naturally forceful anyway and boy that makes us busy stomping one another with boots that we believe divine by right of kingship or flagship or battleship games we played long ago in the back of some forgotten minivan.  Yeah.  We still live in that ship, the possible one, the one that sails around in circles and makes us wonder if we are gods or men or godmen or mengods or mongeds demons with a loose g.
That about sums it up, unless you were looking for something else, in which case - it doesn't.
