Phizzophicalz

Yeah.  Insertion of local demands.  Or, what happens today gets put in the script today.  Or, hey I met this crazy guy at the bus stop and I'm going to make him a character in the book I'm writing.  Or, hey what the hell why wouldn't I just write the stuff that happens to me.  Or, hey reality is kind of a starting point and we can just riff from there.
Isn't that what everyone does?
“Failure to adapt is consistency.  Consistency is the hallmark of easy prey.”  Lotus speaks as if from a written script.

“What if consistency is an adherence to a central idea and adaptation is a construction of action around a particular situation that is in concord with that same central idea.  Is that a kind of consistency that makes one easy prey?”  Yew asks the question with the eyes of a man setting a series of bear traps in the woods.

Lotus looks up at the night sky and shrugs.  “I’m going back to sleep.”
