Green men and ambiguous shirts

They hurdled past a man sitting on the forest floor by an oddly shaped pond, sipping from a cup. It was only after they were long past him that Donut realized something.
“Did that guy have green skin?”
“Yes. They call him the green man,” the horse said.
“Look there! The Naga’s castle. The bridge is down.”
They galloped across the wooden drawbridge and stopped inches short of the massive oaken door.
Donut flew off the saddle, grabbed the heavy iron knocker that was shaped like a snake’s mouth and slammed it as hard as she could. “Naga! Open up! It’s Donut and Quill. We’ve got an army after us and we need somewhere to hide.”
The door slid open to reveal a massive snake that bore the head and torso of a beautiful brown haired woman. She wore gold hoop earrings and a black shirt with silver embroidery that described either the shape of a wine glass or two faces staring at one another.
“Well, if you knock that loud, you won’t be hiding from anyone. Get inssside, already.” She scooted back and held the door open.
Donut floated inside, followed by the horse.
“Where isss Quill?”
Donut pointed at the horse.
