Various musical interpretations of feline movement

The ghost flew through the bathroom window and the cat, of course, did not. Instead, it sat on the sill and meowed a long, trombone like howl.
In the middle of this feline lament, Donut turned and opened the window. This, of course, brought the sound to the attention of the surrounding army who immediately leapt to attention and opened their drooping eyelids.
“What?”
“Is it enemy forces?”
“Have they roused a force of vicious cats against us?”
“Tigers?”
“What are our orders, sir?”
The lizardmen began to shift and shimmy, thumping their spear shafts on the ground and bellowing out inappropriate questions. Stylus grumbled for silence but too many shouts were being hurled in too many directions and the ghost and the cat snuck through enemy lines and found themselves next to the horse with the saddlebed.
“Let us move quietly,” the horse dipped down to make it easier for the cat to get up on his saddle but ended up stepping on the cat’s tail in the process.
A sound like a trumpet fighting an elephant flew from the feline’s mouth. All the lizardmen whipped their scaly faces to stare at the trio.
“Destroy them,” Stylus commanded.
